The operation of Captools/net on the server computer is dependent upon a number of Windows "Service" functions being installed and running.  Normally these services will be configured by the Captools/net installer to automatically run at machine startup, however if Captools/net does not run, it may be because one or more of these services is not running either as a result of them not being successfully configured at Captools/net installation or as a result of becoming disabled, either inadvertently or as a result of another software application.
